Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 27 5:12 pm)
Thanks Steve, Yes I bought Cinema 4D GO after reading your tutorial and trying the demo on the Poserworld CD. I would have liked the XL or even SE versions, but funds would not stretch that far. I ended up with about 26 points on each spline. I imported the P3 woman as you suggest, and coloured her red, then went through an interative process of adjust/add spline - loft- note errors where figure shows through - undo loft - adjust/add spline etc. I used the Unitard cr2 for this, the thin strap one seems to make the top bend over ? Cinema 4D is an excellent program, I can see why you like it. I have used Nendo for some time now, but I'm new to this Nurbs stuff. Now I need to learn how to add sleeves :) Thanks again Ian
I use Nendo too Ian but just got XL V6 which has hypernurbs which are very like nendo but smoother so I'm in heaven, I guess down the road GO will be updated to not sure which parts of Xl it'll get though.......I get that with the thin strap too but it doesn't seem to affect the clothes (wierd though) for sleeves try booleaning the holes then go to side view and create a spline on the edges of the hole (just one side) try to get it as close as possible then start lofting from that, then mirror the extrude you used for the boolean and boolean the other side then mirror a copy of your sleeve and if your lucky it'll fit the other side, if not just mirror the splines instead and adjust the first one to fit the gap...now if you have a bad join do a pipe (um whats it called again :o) you know where you create a pipe along the spline.to act like a seam ....Steve
