She's not that bad... After days of adjusting. If You're interested, tell me what You think, what can be done etc. I'm relatively new to the field of figure creating. Still, I think there is hope for her.

The hair used in this picture is by Kozaburo. Skin shader by me.

There have been a couple of very good Judy makeovers :) Yours is very good.... I've tried a couple of times , but haven't gotten anything looking even close to what you have done here... Great work :)

That's never judy :) she looks more like Vicky, you need to stand up & take a bow you did good work on her.

I've never crossed Judy off...I still use her. I like having the variety available of figures rather than an endless string of Vicky3 clones. You did a lovely job with her. I love the copper tones.

You did some incredible wonders with her eyes-- the deas eyes of the standard P5 models turn me off. Now, that you've made her beautiful-- tell us how you did it. Emily

I would never think that was Judy. You did a fantastic job of re-working her. I also like your skin and eye TEXs. As for the hair, is there postwork on it? I don't recognize it as one of Kozaburos. Tell us, tell us, please!

Ariah ( ) posted Fri, 14 March 2003 at 1:03 PM

OK, here goes... The hair - the model is by Kozaburo (from Ten Ten pack), even the texture is his, but I used a shader of my construction. It goes like this: remember the node alternative difuse in Poser5 material room? Well, I've attached there a Velvet shader. After that I can change the coulour of her hair just by changing the coulour of velvet. From yellow to green:) Most of the options look unrealistic though. You have to work the best combination by Yourselves... Eyes: I made the texture in Photoshop; it's fun, I played with everything there was, made it in several hues... I guess I've applied the gloss shader to the eyeball... Yup, that was it. Changed the dials a bit - experiment! That's the key! As for the face itself... it's not one morph, it's not only the face room. I used them both I various combination. You know: face room face saved as morph, applied, than twisted with original morphs, saved as a single morph, another face room face... And so on and so forth. I could not repeat it now... And in the middle of things I applied the whole face to the figure (never, ever do it!!!!!) and lost the lips material. I had to map everything again, lips, nostrils etc. Ok, that's it, hope You're satisfied... Maybe - a BIG maybe - I will put this model in the Market Place (cheaply, very cheaply). Along with the whole bunch of shaders... If You want to see more of her (the name is Chrissy, by the way) check my gallery. I've been using and reusing her more often than everything else...

...I mean Ronan. That's his name. My very own, favourite Dark Elf. I love this guy...

queri ( ) posted Fri, 14 March 2003 at 1:43 PM

Ah, now I know your work, I've been impressed with Ronan for awhile, but thought he was the Dork. By all means put your Judy in the marketplace, I think you'll be surprised at the takers. Emily

That's one of the best Judy faces I've seen. You actually managed to get rid of the Judy in her, excellent. :] Fish

That's one of the best Judy faces I've ever seen; you did a great job. Have you guys/girls noticed the huge pimple on Judy's nose? I don't see it in this picture - did you get rid of it or is it just me who sees it in Poser5?

LaurieA ( ) posted Fri, 14 March 2003 at 7:42 PM

Gee, you actually managed to make her look pretty! I've seen very few images of her that I actually thought she was ;o). Great job with both Judy and Don! Laurie

fls13 ( ) posted Fri, 14 March 2003 at 7:54 PM

I think the P5s are easy to work with and look great. It's a shame more people aren't taking full advantage of its' features.

mickmca ( ) posted Fri, 14 March 2003 at 8:08 PM

Great Judy. You've fixed the mouth, which is my pet peeve, with its ridge around the whole lip area. The nose pimple is in the mesh, unfortunately, and makes no sense to me. There are two others, at the dimple points in the cheek. The dimple goes out instead of in. I hope SR3 is going to address some of the problems of the figure meshes and textures, which are as bad, in their way, as some of the code bugs. Mick

Sue88 ( ) posted Fri, 14 March 2003 at 9:23 PM

Mick, That's what I thought about the nose pimple (that it's in the mesh). I've just never seen anybody mention it before so I started to wonder if it was just me. :) I agree about the mouth, too.

Lyrra ( ) posted Sat, 15 March 2003 at 3:36 PM

That's Judy? wow. Looks like a very good Posette. I just want the lips, IMHO that's the biggest problem with Judy the lipless wonder

Dave-So ( ) posted Sat, 15 March 2003 at 3:48 PM

is it possible to take the mesh into a modling program and remove that pimple???
