Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 09 3:34 pm)
There have been a couple of very good Judy makeovers :) Yours is very good.... I've tried a couple of times , but haven't gotten anything looking even close to what you have done here... Great work :)

OK, here goes... The hair - the model is by Kozaburo (from Ten Ten pack), even the texture is his, but I used a shader of my construction. It goes like this: remember the node alternative difuse in Poser5 material room? Well, I've attached there a Velvet shader. After that I can change the coulour of her hair just by changing the coulour of velvet. From yellow to green:) Most of the options look unrealistic though. You have to work the best combination by Yourselves... Eyes: I made the texture in Photoshop; it's fun, I played with everything there was, made it in several hues... I guess I've applied the gloss shader to the eyeball... Yup, that was it. Changed the dials a bit - experiment! That's the key! As for the face itself... it's not one morph, it's not only the face room. I used them both I various combination. You know: face room face saved as morph, applied, than twisted with original morphs, saved as a single morph, another face room face... And so on and so forth. I could not repeat it now... And in the middle of things I applied the whole face to the figure (never, ever do it!!!!!) and lost the lips material. I had to map everything again, lips, nostrils etc. Ok, that's it, hope You're satisfied... Maybe - a BIG maybe - I will put this model in the Market Place (cheaply, very cheaply). Along with the whole bunch of shaders... If You want to see more of her (the name is Chrissy, by the way) check my gallery. I've been using and reusing her more often than everything else...
Great Judy. You've fixed the mouth, which is my pet peeve, with its ridge around the whole lip area. The nose pimple is in the mesh, unfortunately, and makes no sense to me. There are two others, at the dimple points in the cheek. The dimple goes out instead of in. I hope SR3 is going to address some of the problems of the figure meshes and textures, which are as bad, in their way, as some of the code bugs. Mick

The hair used in this picture is by Kozaburo. Skin shader by me.
