While I don't comment that often on individual images, I just wanted to post a general note to everyone who participates in posting images to the fractal gallery...and say that (for whatever it's worth) I have been VERY impressed with just about ALL the images that I have been seeing of late...it's really amazing...the variety and level of expressiveness, that is being submitted and created...from all "quarters"...is truely inspirational and a great source of motivation for me... ...from one "fractalist" to the many, I just want to say.... ...thanks... Regards Bryan

Smithgiant, what a wonderful post to come home and read. I agree whole heartedly with you. Thank you for showing your appreciation and support of the fractal community here and for reminding me just how awesome they all are too (you included)!

Hi...I'm new to Fractals, to Renderosity and to this forum. I'm Riverhu. I've been looking through the fractal gallery here and agree...so many of the images here are awesome. There are obviously a lot of very talented artists here. Thank you to everyone for sharing your inspiring fractals.

I'm a lurker here, so forgive the intrusion but I just had to say a word or two. I just started looking at the Fractal Gallery and I think there are a lot of wonderful graphics here. I really hope some of you are submitting to the Renderosity Magazine cover contest....the theme of Air-Earth-Water-Fire would be wonderfully developed in the fractal arena, and there is nothing saying it is limited to humanoids. tresamie (waving to tresamie) got me started on this and then I discovered FractoMania's gallery...well, I'm just amazed at how beautiful the results can be. I don't know how you're achieving some of the effects, but I sure do admire them. :)

Thanks, dialynn (waves back) I think you should go get one of the free fractal generators and play with it!! :)

Fractals will always amaze me!

I actually have Ultra Fractal 3.01 sitting on my desktop..I'm just starting to go through the tutorials. I've not a clue what I'm doing. Have no idea how to get any interesting effects with it. But I sure can see it has wonderful possibilities. :)

I'm in the same boat as you dialyn. I just purchased 'Ultra Fractals 3' last week. I've been going through the tutorials too.

Anyone here got any words of wisdom about UF3?

I seen some very beautiful images created with it here in the fractal gallery. Very Inspiring!

Just keep on doing those tutorials! Also you can subscribe to the UF mailing list, but be prepared to get up to 70 emails per day. I have opened a hotmail account just for the list! Oh...the most important thing, have lots of fun with it!!

Fractals will always amaze me!
