No, this model is his bread and butter. She the world's first virtual model for hire. It's modeled and rendered in Alias Power Animator.

yes, now i remember all the stuff again, steven stahlbergs work... well, she was the first virtual model i've seen and she's the way i'd love to have my models look like, with that level of detail etc. seem's i have to get myself Alias Power Animator or something similar thanks jeff! you've shown me the right way again! -Ede

btw, i'm studying her character a little the face is insane! i like the eyes(look at those lashes) and lips but her body, forgive me, can be better done with the posette mesh i should start modeling and try to do a whole new character mesh, using all the experiences of past work ... want to join me? -Ede

He uses Maya now which is available for WIN NT if you can afford the high price. I think the Millienium Woman model can easily be brought up to this level. The same techniques are used, it's all in the mapping. -JH.

sad to say the millenium woman is not that beautiful :-) i just still don't like the shape of her head if it'd be like posette or like the girl above, it'd be outrageous but its not! we should do a new head ;)) -Ede

Hi Allie, i think we dont even get rid of glowing nostrils using Maya, whatever the price is. Well i'm pretty much convinced that a poser model can look that good, but the rendering engine of poser just sucks. Maybe if it's rendered with bryce, and for the image above, there must be some softening filter applied i guess... i'd love to see vicky look that good i've tried morphing this and that and i never did succeed... this is really making me sick btw, i've noticed maya models having far less verticies than vicky does have in her face hat makes them easier to morph -Ede

Why don't you try Animation Master as your modeller? It's perfect for creating characters that can be animated realistically, and I've seen one animation that looked so realistic in its facial movements and lip movements. You can check www.hash.com to see examples of it at work. At least it doesn't cost thousands of dollars.

Wow Thanks for posting this and starting this thread Ede, She is lovely. Maya will also be available for MacOSX according to AliasWavefront. Also it will be available for the Paltry (choke!) sum of $5000 US. Which is a Huge reduction in price... If I start saving pennies today...:-) For the Mac at least a lower cost modelling-renderer called Pixels3D is available. VERY sophisticated NURBS modeler-and not so hard to use. Right now for $199. IT does NOT do well with Polygonal models like the Poser models-(actually ok if you have BIG RAM available)-but I am learning to love it anyway. Eric
