some how or another my bed is off in poser. It is coming up wayy to much foward and up, how can i fix this? also, it has morphs for the curtains which i then loaded each part of the bed, loaded the morphs then saved with subset as a prop. How can i make a uv map of the whole thing and yet still be able to load it with all the separated parts? If i do the uv map before hand, then i well end up with 10 maps!!! first picture is the bed loaded in normal second picture is the bed how i would rather like it to be third is all the parts of the bed, excluding the ties which well be separate

well one i dont use p5, i use propack. also im not having a problem with the texture map, i dont know if i have to make the texture maps before i load the model, or is there a way to do the whole thing including the panels after its loaded. your thread, totally confused me though

If you UV the parts first then put them together, export as obj., import back in, that will work. You only need to map one of the parts that you use, just import the UV obj. as many times that you need it. eg. the top of the bed post has 4 ends but you only need 1 UV obj. to import to make all 4 ends, but 1 map for the four parts. Read Dr. Geeps tutorials on the grouping tool. That will help you a lot. Just look up geep. Hope this helps. Tashar 59

i got it, caleb helped me out by making the bed into a figure. have all the morphs loaded to and everything works. now i just need fix the uv map and im set. thanks for trying to help thoug. beryld, i dont quite understand the grouping tool enough yet to want to mess with it. i tried it before and well lets just say a week of messing with it and not getting anywhere rather discouraged me from touching it anymore. hugs bea
