Subject: How to get rid of Full-Body-Morphs in cr2's and how to copy them?

  1. How do I get rid of unused Full-Body-Morphs in cr2 files?
The regular way with Morphmanager and the other within P5 does't work.

  2. How can I copy them to other cr2 files?

Anybody knows?

Well as lelionx suggeted you can download the Morph Manager in the Poser freestuff section, but this only works if the figures share the same Geometry file for example, you can't copy Victoria's morphs to the P4 woman, but you can copy Victoria's morphs to Reika or Tenten.

Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.

Open the cr2 in Morph Manager. Right-click on BODY. Select Properties from the pop-up menu. This will open a new panel titled Block Info. Open up the channels section, and you'll be able to select and delete any of the full-body morphs, as usual.

Mind you, these are only the full-body morph control dials. If you want to delete the actual morph deltas themselves, you'll have to identify and manually delete each body-part morph linked to that control dial.

As far as copying goes, Morph Manager can copy the individual body-part morphs that make up the full-body morph, but not the full-body morph control dials. You'll have to cut-and-paste the control-dial info into the second figure's CR2 using a text editor.

Wow! I didn't know it could do that! Holy crap!

This counts for me, too! Thanks, Dragon!

You can copy the valueParm channels in BODY if: the extension on the cr2 is changed to pz2 or if you open a pz2 and then immediately load your cr2 on top of it. Then the channels in BODY are available.

Wow! I didn't know it could do that!

You wrote the sodding thing, how couldn't you know? :)

How's work on Morph Manager 6 progressing?

Oh, and thanks for the tip, Jaager!

I loaded a .pz2 and then my .pz3. The Body morphs showed, but then when I copied them over to an M2 Shell.cr2(An M2 .cr2 with all of the MTs deleted from it.), and opened that in Poser 4, the Body MTs showed, with the value they were transfered with, I then saw they didn't reshape the figure at all, why?

Nance ( ) posted Tue, 27 May 2003 at 1:58 PM

Just linked to this in another thread and saw Odiemanc's question was unanswered... The reason the FBMs didn't work is that they just control the individual body part morph channels, which it sounds like you did not transfer. You have to have both in the new figure for the FBMs to work.
