Speaking of April Fools Jokes... Last night we had tech rehersal for the musical I'm directing. It's Kiss Me Kate, for those who care. Anyway, the play involves a number of scenes with intense, highly choreographed and difficult to perform dance numbers. The hardest opens the second act, and is called "Too Darn Hot." At about 11:00, when we were finished with rehersals and the Directors were done with thier notes, I stood up and said, great... Now the Choreagrapher and I have decieded to run through Too Darn Hot one more time... Let's just say... if looks could kill... I'd be dead.

And who can blame them... :) We were just planning a friendly necktie party for Brycetech, with torches and all. Seems that others beat us to it...damn.

Hey, don't kill him, he makes great tutorials (nothing phoney about them). Just thump him a little. :^)

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

If any of you have ever read the book "Horton Hears a Who" or seen the cartoon, there is a line in the story where the mass's scream "BOIL THAT DUST SPECK". Hmmm fits right in there doesn't it? LOL

runwolf, I thought it would have been funny if, now that they know the dance number, you told them, "The Choreagrapher has decided to use a different routine for 'Too Darn Hot'"

A few years ago I was called for jury duty. What happens is you sit in a big room with a bunch of other people until the judges decide they need you for jury duty. The first day was on April Fool's day, and the women who worked there told a bunch of people who were waiting that they had just been appointed to a jury and would have to be sequestered until the trial was over. Everyone looked upset that they would be kept from their families, possibly for months. Then the women started laughing and said 'April Fool's'. Lin

Couldn't we just dip him in a little boiling oil before we thump him a little? 8D Catlin

I think we need one of those 'hunt down Frankenstein' mobs from '50s horror movies. You, know the ones with villagers and pitchforks. Evil LOL.

I think everyone got a little excited by the idea of Bryce 6 - because all of us want Bryce 6 to happen. The joke wasn't by any means genius because the market audience was more than happy to play along. It just took a little bit of bad taste to bake this little trouble-cake.

April fools jokes are, in my opinion, a low sense of humor. Those that believed the jokes aren't gullible, they are trusting.

Well I thought it really hit the spot and had me laughing my head off, it was a top jape. That said I've always worked with a bunch pranksters and this was pretty timid compared to some of the tricks they've done.
