Wow. This is really hard this month - 3,2,1 doesn't seem enough to cover it. Congrtaz to all. Anyway, I've settled on a quest for survival, a quest for life, and a quest for knowledge. 3 points -> rj001 2 points -> ICMGraphics 1 point -> chohole

The problem I had this month was in relating some of the images to the theme. This isnt to say they didnt relate, just that it was difficult to see without an artists comment. Case in point. Im very impressed with ttops image but never made the connection with "Hitchikers" until I went back to the forum and read the original post. Doh! I`ve been back and forth to the forum a good few times this morning. Anyway, congrats to all, this months metabally thing was beyond me. ttops 3 pts Stephen Ray Doublecrash

I would have liked to enterthis month's challenge, but time wasn't on my side...sigh RJ001 - 3pts - said it all, very well executed render. Tuttle - 2pts - same as above, I loved the ships up in the sky. Jamonjay - 1 pt - This one is fun! Great idea! Hon-mention - ICMGraphics. Well done everybody! The Bryster

Oboy, was it though this time. I usually give out a whole bunch of honorable mentions, but this time I would've had to include almost everybody, so I'll stick with the three, really hard to select, final choices: 3 pts - Rochr 2 pts - rj001 1 pt - ttops It was really great, folks. S.

Gentlemen, this has been a great challenge, you all have done a great work! 3 pts - gsb, because it doesn't seems Bryce 2 pts - Rochr, because it's too cute, and remember me days in front of a monitor, to solve a quest 1 pt - Sparr because is simpli but evocative!

sailor_ed ( ) posted Fri, 04 April 2003 at 7:35 AM

Sure wish I could do things like this with Bryce! 3-ICMGraphics 2-ttops 1-rochr Very honorable mentions to sparr, tuttle and vasquez.

Its very hard to vote only for 3 entries (because i liked them all!!) so i vote: Sparr: 3pts Great athmosphere! Amazing Effects! Excellent! Schubi: 2pts One look, and the viewer can understand straight away what quest your image depicts. And that was the task! 2pts for that idea! Doublecrash: 1 pt - This one is so funny! And really a quest too! And a perfekt Render! Good Luck for all the participated artists! Keep up the good work :)

Great job by all, would have liked to enter but working on finals doesn't leave much time to spend with Bryce :( ICMgraphics - 3 ttops - 2 Z_Shadow - 1

bulldawg66 ( ) posted Fri, 04 April 2003 at 9:40 AM

Hmmm...I liked quite a few of the...but here is my vote... Doublecrash 3pts. Great POV and like the ants Tuttle 2pts. The creature/robotic creatures were really good, but also liked the material used for the water FWTempest 1pt. Great textures, the roadmap, and the gloves...definitly the floating gloves

johnpenn ( ) posted Fri, 04 April 2003 at 9:56 AM

FWTempest - 3pts Tuttle - 2 pts Doublecrash - 1pt

Claymor ( ) posted Fri, 04 April 2003 at 10:06 AM

Boy, this is almost impossible to choose. At least half of these got more than serious consideration. So, in the end I looked for something that made me feel tension, immediately identified a "quest", and was an interesting image... 3 - ttops, love the tension created by the pose on the person. Couldn't have voted for this one if I didn't know Adam's , but alas I do. :) 2- Rochr, Too many hours in front of video games, this one had a certain pop for me that I couldn't ignore. 1- eelie, The quest is obvious as is the tension, for me at least. I want to know what the mouse will do next. Great modeling too!! Honorable mentions: BecSchm, Doublecrash, ICMGraphics, FWTempest, gsb, Jaymonjay, Vasquez...y'all made it tough to choose.

eelie ( ) posted Fri, 04 April 2003 at 10:19 AM

ICMgraphics - 3 for the emotions it evokes rj001 - 2 for technical ability, unique idea and POV FWTemptest - 1 for the humor (even if I've never personally seen a man use a map or ask for directions) Man, this was so hard! So many deserving, so few votes to cast.

dan whiteside ( ) posted Fri, 04 April 2003 at 11:08 AM

Great job to all! 3- Creations 2- ICM Graphics 1- RJ001 Hon. Mention - Nunski and Tuttle Both Creations and ICM really did a great job interperting the theme Loved the compostion and sense of motion on RJ001's. Nunski and Tuttle for such great metaballs.

Aldaron ( ) posted Fri, 04 April 2003 at 11:34 AM

Hmmmm....narrowing down the choices didn't help because I had almost the whole list by the time I got to the last image. So I had to go with themes and the ones that touched me, even this was hard to decide. Chohole - 3 (the indian in me just shouted for the spiritwalk) rj001 - 2 (beautiful modeling, composition and lighting) eelie - 1 (the cute factor, it was a toss up between you and Rochr, love his character but thought I'd give eelie a chance this time :) )

Jausse ( ) posted Fri, 04 April 2003 at 12:25 PM

Right. Unfortunately I didn't have time to enter the challenge this month, but here are my votes: 3 - Rochr 2 - rj001 1 - Doublecrash There were many excellent pictures to choose from, and I had a tough time making my mind. Josselin

nuski ( ) posted Fri, 04 April 2003 at 12:28 PM

3-chohole just the quest that I need at this point in my life - . . .not to mention that the figure looks like my kickboxing instructor 2-dragonsbld 1-stephenray . . . you can include me in these two quests

BOOMER ( ) posted Fri, 04 April 2003 at 2:03 PM

3 - ICM Graphics. Thanks from all of us that were there. The only thing missing is the smell. 2 - Dan Whiteside. He needs backup. 1 - Sparr. Nice atmosphere.

Ang25 ( ) posted Fri, 04 April 2003 at 3:51 PM

rj001 - 3 pts Excellent! eelie - 2 pts Love it! chohole - 1 pts Very Beautiful! Ok, wish I was able to vote for all the ones that I loved. It wasn't easy narrowing it down to 3 nor putting these in an order. This months entries were again tough to pick between. Great Job everyone!

Rochr ( ) posted Fri, 04 April 2003 at 4:56 PM

Made some serious scrolling here... Vasquez - 3 Doublecrash - 2 Tuttle - 1 And honorable mentions for the rest of the crowd! Great stuff from all! :)
