Hi - Can someone tell me why this mapping problem is happening? I'm pretty damn sure I've followed the directions outlined in the tutorial for the arms to the letter, and I was able to get the other body parts to work before (albeit with a lot of problems there too). Is there some blatantly obvious thing that I'm missing? This is extremely frustrating.

Thanks for your help.

Hi gtrias, I don't know why... but, if I have similar problem, check: - if the textures is made for my character (V2 or V3). - if the material of body parts point to the right textures. - if I change the original meshes of the character. Hope help you, Mav :)

Mav - Thanks for the advice. The textures were made for a remapped vicki (using uvmapper) and the tutorial for applying them was explicitly followed. Yet despite this - no joy. Any other thoughts? I have a sneaking suspicion it's pretty obvious, yet I still don't have a clue. Thanks! gtrias

It appears that you are using the same texture for the whole figure on each indviual part. If you look closely you can see the writing on the arm part. Make sure that each part has it's own map. hope this helps. skee
