Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 11 12:18 am)
Actually all files (pz3, cr2, pz2, obj) can be read with a text editor. I like gvim (http://www.vim.org), it is very fast and lightweight, but there are (usually free)alternatives as gvim is more for Unix buffs :). I use gvim on Windows as it automatically converts between formats and saves in the original format. You may consider to get and learn to use such a text editor because looking inside these files is the best way to understand and hack problems you cannot fix with Poser. I use gvim very often to fix paths inside these files. There are other threads about text editors. Use search to find them.

Is there a path hidden inside certain poser files for texture files? For example... the obj path can be found inside the cr2 file.
