Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 13 5:20 am)
In poser, you can change morph sensitivity (tracking) until you're blue in the face and it doesn't make a bit of difference. It'll work for other dials, but not morphs. Even changing the values in the cr2 does nothing. Poser just goes back to it's own imaginary settings. Why it would disappear after saving, I don't know. mac
You could add a separate ERC control to give the proper ratio. This would also give you a way to control several morphs at once from a central dial, if that's needed. (The main dial could be 0 for no morphs, 1 for fully morphed.)

ERC = Enhanced Remote Control. It's a way of 'slaving' several channels to a 'master'. And a few other handy techniques. The problem is, in poser 4 it causes crosstalk, which is what happens when 2 figures with the same ERC channels 'lock' into one another's settings. I'd avoid it, if I were you. Also, if you now nothing about it, it can take a while to learn. This whole business with morph tracking is a real pain. I usually use the dials and type in everything directly. Best reccommend that to the users. (And tell them that alt-clicking the dial returns it to zero) mac

i have some figures in propack and have made morphs which i saved with the figure in the dials. i changed the min limit to 0 and the max limit to 1 but the morphs on the figures move really sluggish to get the darn things open. so i tried the sensitivity and save the figure again. well when i reopened it, it wasnt there anymore. how do i fix this problem or is it best to just tell people the numbers they need to change manually to get the parts to open. this is for a package i am working on. thanks bea
