You have to convert it to another format. You could try to convert it to an object with the free luuv plugin. Not sure it will work for 3.2, but works great with later versions. Might be worth a shot if you don't want to spend the money on Deep Exploration etc. SpectreWell, luuv doesn't seem to be working in 3.2 :o( Any other ideas?

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

I use a program called LithUnwrap for exactly this purpose. It was free, but is no longer available. I believe it has morphed into something called Ultimate Unwrap 3D, which is not free (but I believe is trialware). LithUnwrap worked very well, so if this new one is the same you should have no problems. In my experience, it does help to triangulate the objects in trueSpace before exporting.Attached Link: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=1034635
Here's a link to a thread in the trueSpace forum with links to several programs that can convert between .obj and .cob. HTH! SueAttached Link: http://home.europa.com/~keithr/Crossroads/index.html
Crossroads is a neat little free converter. Also,Bryce will import cob and export as obj. Thanks all :o) Now the next question is naturally: Has anybody verified that the resulting objs are useable as morphtargets? I tried a few ways but every time I either ran into the "wrong number of verticies) or the head would just distort beyond reconnition the moment I started to apply the morph. But - mind you - this was NOT by using Crossroads or any of the solutions mentioned in this thread

Hmmm... I've just done some experiments and the only good results I got was with luuv. I know you said that it doesn't work with tS3 though. You might send an e-mail to Clint and ask if it was possible to make luuv compatible with tS3. Or you might check out the later versions of trueSpace. If you liked what you saw in 3.2, you would probably love the later versions, they have a lot of really nice tools in them. Especially 6 and 6.5. I tried Compose, but it seemed to take forever to read the .cob file, so I gave up. I tried Lithunwrap, Crossroads and Vue, but none of them worked very well for morph targets(if at all). At least that's how it was for me; I don't know if somebody else has a method that would make them work. If you try the newer versions of trueSpace with luuv, here are some things to keep in mind: - when you import the object into tS, disable luuv's autoscale. (Right-click on its icon to access the options.) Then, manually scale the object (you can do this in the Object info panel by multiplying the x, y, and z sizes by the same amount (like *20). - Do not move the mesh and do not add any vertices. - Before you export the object (ALT-click on luuv to export)resize it again (divide the x, y and z sizes by the same amount you multiplied them before - like /20. Good luck!

John Wind's Compose (see link) was originally designed for transferring between trueSpace and Poser, and it doesn't do anything to the mesh on the way (unless you tell it to). It's written in Java, so will work on PC or Mac; but you'll also need the Java runtime which is quite a hefty download nowadays.LithUnwrap is still around. It's no longer supported by the author, but to the best of my knowledge he has no objection to others continuing to download and use it.

Since Poser 5 can't read .cob files and Truespace (3.2) can't export anything but those, then how do I get my morph attempt into Poser? I just got TS 3.2 on a magazine cover disk and decided to give it a try. Even if I still prefer my old trusty Max, I can see some neat things in Truespace :o) But how do I export my stuff to Poser?
