Well, here's my submission. It's not really finished, because I see TONS of things I could still do that I just don't have time to do. But oh well... I'm ready to move on to other things, so to heck with it. I know the bump on the brain doesn't look right, and I appreciate Mark's help on his approach, but I just couldn't get it to look right with the lighting scheme I had. Anyway, here it is. Critique it as much as you want (I know where a lot of coments will come) - tell me how I could have made it better! HG...

Fun image HG. The place that I spend a lot of time is in lighting. I'd suggest reducing the ambiant light and placing a few more spots around the scene to fill in the dark areas. The only time an image is ever done for me is when I'm out of time to work on it :) Speaking of time, my image is still only half done; Waaaaaa! It won't be timely but I'll post it when there is more in the computer than on the sketchbook. Mark

Thanks for the comments. I agree about never being finished with a piece of work... lol... Interesting thing, Mark... Ambient light is set to zero... I thought there was a lot of light in the scene too... Maybe I just have the lights I have in there up too high. I have shape lights over the brain and the head in the background, a bulb light for the candle light, and that's it. Wait, I think the default "Light 1" is still in the scene, but I think I turned it down low too... Oh well, that was one of the critiques I had of the scene myself... Just chalk it all up to continuing-the-learning-process... (which never ends... LOL) HG...

Looks good, HG! Good concept- shame you don't have more time. Daf
