Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 11 2:16 pm)
Doesn't Poser use an internal color model like everything else? I wasn't aware that any program could be effected internally like this when your system color setting was changed. I mean if you set the program or file to 32-bit I could understand. But the SYSTEM display settings? Programs are supposed to be independant of windows settings. I guess that's what happens when you port a program from a Mac...eeewww... Mac's do everything wierd.
Excuse me, for creating even more confusion! But, i have 3 systems with 3 different videocards, and it's different for each one?! Anyhow, Nerd! I take the guess work out of this completely: 1- Render your item(Nice'n easy) 2- Export image 3- reimport it as background image 4- move item out of the CAM's way 5- save item in library. makes for some nice & easily itentifiable stuff in my libraries... Very useful for those items(namely Hair & clothes) with transparency.. Marc

Ever since I got poser, when saving in the library it has made a solid square with the background color on it. Basically a thumbnail of whatever was displayed at the time. Today it started saving with the background transparent, like the figures that came with poser. What did I change?
