Love the Ark! At the risk of being un-p.c., I found this in the Scout Song Book: Children of the Lord So, Noah he build him, he built him an arky, arky; Thatched it up with [slap or clap] hickory barky, barky; Children of the Lord. The animals they came in two by twosy, twosy; Elephants and [slap or clap] kangaroosy, roosy, roosy; Children of the Lord. The animals they came in three by threesy, threesy; Bugs and bears and [slap or clap] bumblebeesy, beesy; Children of the Lord. The animals they came in four by foursy, foursy; Noah called out [slap or clap] Close the doorsy, doorsy; Children of the Lord. It rained, it rained, it rained forty daysy, daysy; Drove those animals [slap or clap] nearly crazy, crazy; Children of the Lord. The Sun came out and dried up the landy, landy; Everything was [slap or clap] fine and dandy, dandy; Children of the lord.

hmmmm, did you use pitch like Noah did? Sharen

steveshanks ( ) posted Mon, 12 May 2003 at 3:03 PM

Cool ;o)....no pitch on this one it'll sink LOL....thanks ;o)...Steve

dialyn ( ) posted Mon, 12 May 2003 at 3:06 PM

Personally I've never been able to sing on pitch. That's why I couldn't get in the choir. Walking away, whistling.

steveshanks ( ) posted Mon, 12 May 2003 at 3:12 PM

They let me in but i had to stand at the back and sing very quiet LOL, no one in my family can sing we are very very bad ;o).......Steve

dialyn ( ) posted Mon, 12 May 2003 at 3:15 PM

I was so bad, that I was put in a separate section along with 4 boys and we had to speak our parts as a narrative wrap around the singing. It was quite a proud moment for my mother. She didn't realize I had been banished...she thought this was a reward!!!

bknoh ( ) posted Mon, 12 May 2003 at 4:10 PM

OH Steve! I was the person who requested this and it is more than I ever thought possible. Thank you so much! Diane

LordsWarrior ( ) posted Mon, 12 May 2003 at 6:21 PM

God said to Noah, theres gonna be a Floody Floody God said to Noah, theres gonna be a Floody Floody Get them animals...out of the muddy muddy Children of the lord. JOY! -LW

Me too Dialyn, i used to get lead parts in plays and i'm sure it was guilt for not letting me sing LOL.......I'm glad you posted Diane coz i couldn't find the old thread to tell you, hope its ok i kinda tryed to get a cross between the folk look and a realistic one....Well Pokeydots, yes, no, maybe LOL....i've beem experimenting with a few but its taking so long i think i need to put them back till i have spare time BUT with the ark in mind i thought i'd try the old bryce way and put pics on a plane with trans, But poser renders the shadows wrong...like in this image...but they work if you turn shadows off on them, do you think its worth posting, the good thing is you can get loads in and i have loads i can do, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys..i gotta show you these ;o).......Steve

You might want to consider putting the "two by twosy" woodpeckers in a special area to avoid any problems. ;-)
