Has anyone used zazzle.com to create and sell posters. I just uploaded a couple of fractals there for posters and would like to know what kind of quality this site offers. thanks mike

here i am... :-) yes, i uploaded a lot of posters at zazzle.com. the quality is quite good (as far as i got feedback from wojteg, who has one). and of course it depend on what you upload. if you render your images with high resolution you will get good posters. the payment works by check every month. but i sent mine back because i have to pay too much expenses to the bank here in switzerland. and i did not buy yet my posters at zazzle, because of the shipping coasts.

Hi there,

I think you should go to a photoshop in your town. In my case Ive found a very good "printing" service. The Posters were not printed but exposed, up to 30x45 cm. Greater than that is printed. But the Quality is also very well.

I've sent some of mine to a local print house too and was very satisfied with the results. I did them in several sizes (from 20cm width the smallest to 50cm - 20 inches? - the widest), all printed in glossy then framed (they went to an exhibition later). All had 300dpi and were huge - some had 100Mb. It wasn't as expensive as I thought (the framing is much more expensive), and the only problem I had was that the ink used wasn't water resistant (HP ink?) - some got destroyed by small saliva droplets, I should have stopped drooling when I saw these images... I never tried zazzle neither ophoto and similars also because of the shipping costs - I couldn't pay this (international) shipping then another shipping to send them to the exhibition place.

At www.digitalfotoversand.de you can find a very good offer. Up to 50x70 cm youll get a Foto, that means it is a REAL photo, not printed. Cya Maik
