This image is the result of an experiment with lighting along with the equalizer in KPT6, uses viki pose, zygote ponytail hair, viki; some interesting effects using kpt6 and adjust the transparancy in photoshop.

Looks really good, Lorraine. It would make a good style of work.

Very nice. but what aspect exactly is the KPT responsible for? What do you do with it? Is it what gave the beautiful uminance/translucence somehow?

The KPT6 equalizer gave the image a softer brighter transition between the color and shadow. Also I used the depth cueing to start with, which gives a less bright beginning image. the equalizer has a series of controls which vary the sharpness and brightness. In this case the controls were adjusted so the image became less sharp, more bright emphasizing the lighted portions then using the transparancy of the duplicated layer adjusted it until there was a subtle shift in the depth and softness of the image. So in short, KPT6 gave the luminance/translucence or added to the illusion of a glowing of light rather than the harsh "lighted" affect.
