Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 06 7:01 am)
In IPB 1.0, use the option "Strip Zeroed" in the general processing dialog to ignore all of the zeroed channels... When saving into the face library, be sure that you use the fc2 extension in order for it to show up in poser. Poser does not see pz2's in the face library folders.
If it can wait a day or two, IPB is getting an update. One of the additions I've made specifically address this scenario.

IPB is a must-have! Just a heads up for PBoost users. I've found that if I deal with files directly in Poser sometimes a lock gets put on the folder (at least in XP/NTFS). To get around that I just move the poser files I want to work with to a temporary folder and use that. Then move 'em back to Poser when finished.
You must specify "[your name].fc2" (be sure to include the .fc2) in the save dialog and navigate to the Runtimelibrariesface[your catagory] folder when you save the file, in order for it to show up in Poser. Simply selecting "Face File (*.fc2)" from the file types drop-down will not change the extension for you.
Beta feedback has been great, so the update should be posted later today... :)

Okay, it's quite late and I'm not sure how well I can explain my question, so I'll just try an example. :) I created a V3 character "A" using Daz's morphs (full body and head morphs) and a character "B" (also full body and head morphs). Now I want to be able to use A's head on B's body and the other way around. So I'm guessing I should save the body morphs and the face morphs as a different injection pose file. So far sounds logical. :) So I take character A and I turn all of the head morphs I used to Zero. I save my character as "A body" (after using the "!IPB prep") and then take it to the IPB and create a pz2 called "A body INJ". This pose works ok. Now I take my original A character and turn all of the body morphs to Zero, use the "!IPB prep", and save it as "A head". Then I take it to IPB and create a pz2 called "A head INJ". Now I go to Poser, I load a fresh V3 and click on the "A body INJ". So far so good. The body loads fine. So next I click on "A head INJ", and that's the problem. :) The body morphs disappear, and the head morphs appear. But they cannot be both. So I try to save "A head INJ" as a fc2, but the file doesn't show in Poser. I mean, when I open the windows explorer, I can see the file "A head INJ" in my "face" directory inside the library I created, but when I load Poser it looks as if this library is empty. So what am I doing wrong??
