When I render, the bridge becomes like a ballon. can any body tell me why? every thing else behaves normaly! see my render 6

On the next picture you can see the sene with the bridge visibility turned off

You need to uncheck the "smooth polygons" choice in the Render Options.

This problem should be insert in Poser FAQ, every 2nd post is the same question. No one use the search function. Mazak

what Mazak is trying to say is... your object is ballooning up like that because you have "Smooth Polygons" checked in you render settings. Just uncheck it and you should be all set.. It is a popular question tho ...LOL /gz

g and ockham answered the question before mimimimi post the last picture... a very popular (copy and paste) question ;-) Mazak

I'd just turn off smoothing in the prop's properties, and leave smooth polygons checked in the render options.

This is the strangest render that I have ever seen! It is the result of setting the light intensity to a negitive number, and turning on depth cueing.

So when SHOULD we smooth polygons?

queri ( ) posted Tue, 10 June 2003 at 3:28 AM

You can smooth polys every time as long as you turn them off on props and sets. Use the properties window. Smoothpolys does wonderful things to Bombshell hair, DW hair, Jim Burton hair and skin curves. Emily
