How do you basically attach an obj. (3ds, obj, dfx, etc.) to a poser part (hand, foot, head, etc) Example: I want to attach a sword to my figure so when I move his arm, I don't have to manually reposition the sword. I have been racking my brain on this. HELP!

Parent the sword to the poser figure's hand. =) Rosh

heya; what rosh means is... select the obj or prop or whatever it is, then hit ctrl-i. (object:properties) there should be a button that says 'set parent.' hit that, and select the body part to be the obj's parent. also, it might help if you lock the object (object:lock object) after you do this, so you don't accidentally grab the prop when you mean to grab the hand.

Thanks, I'll try that. I think what I was doing wrong was using "Set new Parent". When I did that the object would move with the body part, only it would offset about an inch and a half (On-Screen).

heya; it might do that, anyway. just grab the prop and drag it back where it belongs, THEN lock it. that's just... one of them poser thangs. ;)
