Hmmm... Could your os be trying to save backup files at the same time or some kind of configuration files? What os are you running? Also, are you using really old drives? It could be your host (whichever one poser is on and saving to) drive is getting tipsy. Try a surface scan and see if anything comes up then defrag. But things work okay when you save as though? Its when you save 'over' an existing file that... what happens?

Just lost another 20 hours of work by accidently hitting the "save" button instead of "save as". If your new to this, it would be safer to save your work to a new name using the "save as" option. Ex: MyScene would be saved as MyScene1, or MyScene1d as you progressed along. If your lights were messed up you could revert back to previous "save as".
My system tends to crash during saves, and if you only are saving to one PZ3 you can lose all of it in a blackout crash. Hope this made sense. Signed, Prozac
