Subject: mapping pictures

I have a jpeg I want to map on a surface (surface is 100x50 scale units) in vue. My jpeg is 100px X 50px which means my jpeg should fit exactly on the surface. I dont want to tile it I just want one image to fit. How do I make it fit one to one? Does it have to be trial and error? Thanks

Sorry for the misunderstanding when I said surface I ment material surface such as on an object or box rather than terrain.

You better do it in UVmapper then:-)

BTW, you did not give us anough details. What kind of object exactly? Is it a Vue primitive (then see in the FAQ tutorials section). Is it an imported OBJ (you need UVmapper). Show us the bitmap and the object. This would be much easier to answer. Guitta

It's an imported object created in 3D Studio Max. Shouldn't it export it with UV maps already?

Yes, this should work if you export it as a 3ds.
