In case the above link does not work. The water running over a beach and sliding down...that momement. Can Bryce do that?

You mean the tide? Bryce can make water like that, yes, but you have to do some playing with textures and things.

It's all in the textures. Bryce can do that if you're willing to experiment, learn, and try again.

and a close up Realise these are just quick renders that were put together. With a bit more work on textures, lighting,etc it can be 10 times better.

copy and paste your url in the space labeled url just below the spot where you type your response to a post and it will link it up

Sorry about the link. I did see the URL, but I thought it was meant for my link to my page or something like that. I just got my Bryce two days ago and made three images so far in my gallery. I've never done 3D work before...I just decided to try as a hobby. :-)

d'oh..I was gonna say that..;) you can also attach files (.txt, .jpg, and a coupla others) under 'attach file', as long as the file is under 200k..;) it's handy for pics and stuff..;)

I'm doing some experiments to simulate surf from a distance in bryce, using terrains and slope sensitive mats...Basically I'm using photoshop to make 'negatives' of the terrain the water is to be reacting with, and building ripples into the grayscale. Mixed results sofar, but it shows promise. I've noticed that terragen and mojoworld do a really nice job at this kind of thing....
