firstly, many many thanks to all those positive replies it really makes the diffrence. Today i was looking at my sketch and began wor on the Birdy type scribble on the left. i wasnt originally going to add this, but the more i thought about the picture the more i realised that i was stuck with this scribble, i couldnt look at my scene without realising that it had to go in or i wouldnt feel finished. ever had that where a doodle takes over. so anyway decided to excorcise my demons and have posted this breakdown of its construction in case it gives any tips. a terrain body, 3ds objecta for head and some basic texturing to finish, hmm why does it sound simpler than it was?

Interesting to trace the pathology of an artist's demon tormented imagination and creative process LOL. I don't think those are demons rj001, I think they are just very insistant Muses who bless you with the creative spark that allows you to do the consistantly high-level work you do! By the way, if those demons, or muses get to be too much of a burden send 'em my way! Excellent and imaginative work in progress, I really want to see the completed pic.

"Whoa" for the work, but specially the bird. I really ought to try harder with the terrain maps.
