I am trying to put a suit on Don. There is a conforming clothing set for a jacket and tie... and one for slacks. Either one alone works fine, but when I try to do both I get a jagged effect where they meet (see attached image).

I looked for conforming clothing in the Poser 5 manual, but only found where it said not to layer conforming clothing (on page 68) which doesn't help much.

So how can I fix this?

Thanks in advance
Sheridan

You might be able to get it to fit by setting the "taper" dial by hand on the bottom of the jacket to a very low negative number. (Try -.2 or so on the hip, I believe.) I've had some luck with other figures using that method. Cheers!

Magnets... Select the hip of the coat. Object > Create Magnet. Select the horseshoe magnet prop. On the magnet properties box [select add element top deform] Pick the rButtock of the coat. Repeat for the lButtock and abdomen. Select the magnet zone and scale it to about 15%. Select the magnet and scale x and z to about 120%. You may need to adjust the placement of the zone and size a bit. Keep in mind too that the Business coat conforms nasty the joint setups are way wrong. Someday maybe I'll fix it and put up the improved CR2 as a freebie.

Wait wait wait... It looks like crap because the coat conforms so poorly. I reworked the coat conformer and it works much better keep an eye on the free stuff. I'll have it in there in a few minutes.
