Trav is jumping up and down waving his hand in the air. As soon as he calms down and makes us some motion morphs for clothes and muscles we will really be stylin' Give us a little time and I think we'll have a body builder that "pumps up" or somthing like that. I'm working on techniques for conforming skirts that (finally) work right. Check out this AVI of a CM based skirt. Thanks for the accolades, seriously. I'm hoping that this will spawn other discoveries... In the imortal words of Buzz Lightyear grin, "To infinity and beyond!"... One of the very first things that popped into my head when I got it to work was... "Oh man, wait till Eric (Traveler) gets a hold of this!!!" I've already contacted Chad (Zygote) about it... so, although there are no promises, it might show up in "Victor". I've also contacted Larry (like I need to explain who Larry is...), and I'm awaiting his reply. I've been toying with the technique, trying to get multiple joints to work on the same principle... no sucess yet (but I'm not done trying either). -Rob
Thanks guys, here is a passing idea I've been working on. An articulated morph system that would simulate the movement of the chest and diaphram during typical breathing. Your new technique added to an entire figure's simulated musculature, and a breathing morph would allow for some rather realistic animations.
Nerd and Rob there are not enough words! This is incredible, a huge breakthrough, thank you for sharing this. I have just watched your lady walk Nerd, wow! The movement on the dress is fantastic (and on her mammalian protruberences - as Frank Zappa would say)! Now if transmapped hair can be got to do the same thing, and some morphs to simulate the effects of gravity on walking/movement on the face muscles, and can you imagine doing this with a fat model, jumping up and down, all the flesh and clothes jiggling, he he, what a challange, and action scenes as the punch lands and..and...and.... My mind is just boggling with all of this, you have just made Poser Rock and Roll and Rule!!! STORM

Robert Whisenant, AKA "rbtwhiz" and I (the Nerd) have discovered a new technique for Poser. This will allow morph targets to be automatically controlled by joint movenent. The first example is muscles that bulge when a joint is flexed. We call this Joint Controlled Morphs (JCM). We can also give you Partial Body Morphs (PBM). This allows a single morph dial to control morphs on several body parts, or several morphs on one body part. This also works on conforming figures. Conforming Morphs (CM) allow morphs on conformed clothing to be applied as the target figure moves. The technique presently requires editing the CR2 file in a text editor, but the lines are fairly easy to add.
