go to the curious labs website and click on the "downloads" button. they do have a trial of Poser 4. However, you can't save anything, and you can't use anything but the basic model.....I tried it first before I bought it, and lol, I bought it so I could see what it could do, as I couldn't really find out with the trial version. I'm not sure of any other programs, or free/shareware that does that, but I'll keep looking! shadowSitemail | Freestuff | Craftythings | Youtube|

Caveat: The Poser 3 installation from 3DWorld comes with a Vicky model which cannot be textured correctly (Poser 3 doesn't support multiple maps for one figure), and because it doesn't support transparency either, her eyeballs will appear blank. Play with the default Poser 3 figures instead and you'll be fine.

Does anybody know of any freeware/shareware that has basic tools for easily posing human figures? I'm just looking for drawing/perspective reference, so I don't need shaders/renders/etc. And/or are there any demo versions of poser available where I could just take screen-shots to get this sort of imagery? thanks! -r
