If you add the sandy terrains in front of the tree line and then move the camera slightly up and then face it slightly downward, that should do it. Obviously the terrains should be flattened, cuz they are almost the same as sea level. And from terrain editor make your terrains 512*512, for better resolution. Someone else might have a better suggestion. Regards. P.S. Great work by the way, specially for second image.
Ah I didn't think to angle my camera up and downward. Thanks sharon but I was a bit annoyed to see that I hadn't saved it with the other rock texture - I preferred the smooth mossy one. It freezes on me though sometimes and I have to close it out and re-open it to finish and that's what happened with the rock.

I finished this image http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=453931 the other day - trying to get comfortable with VUE4 as I've previously only used 2 and only briefly. One of the comments suggested a sandy terrain, which I agree that it needs. I tried to (see the sand in the front) but I couldn't get it to show up without overtaking the trees. Syhould I have made it flatter? I gave it a bit of swelling and it took some manuevering to get that little bit of sand. Suggestions on building up extra terrains?3-D Arena | Instagram | Facebook
