seen a batch of poser work being used for wall murals on "the sims resource" the guy that has them up seems to be the creator of most of the murals. i was there since i play the game

Hmmm, haven't seen that - The Sims is one my list of "you might want to get this"-games. Right at this moment I'm playing Shogun: Total War while I wait for Diablo II to be released in the UK Paul

Lobo Diablo II is out already, it's in all the shops, it's also amazing as I've played it too. However I have decided to not buy the game due to the large amount of time the first one took up. Shogun is also cool, swap their music for the Gladiator soundtrack and really get into it :-) Best wishes Jody

It's not in the shops by me yet - we have to wait until this weekend :( [That doesn't stop me going in every night on my way home, on the off-chance that it's arrived early...] Paul

I bought The Sims and was so disappointed to find that, after I installed it, it wouldn't run. I tried the fix that the site offered, but it still wouldn't work. It sure looks like fun. Melanie

Don't get the Sims unless you never want to do anything else. It's horribly addictive. But fun, though. Is it possible to find an export for poser to Sims skins add-on?

I have it too (ok ok, I'll admit it, a COPY of it :), and its just sitting there, and although ive heard rave reviews on it, I have heard the same thing IronBear... and i dont need that sort of addiction. Especially now that im focusing my attention on learning Poser4, then Ray Dream, Carrera, Canoma, TrueSpace, 3D Studio MAX, Painter 3D, and Bryce. do NOT ask me why i all of a sudden out of the blue decided to take all this on, but im realizing its something i wouldnt mind doing with my life, and i gotta start somewhere... so soon i can say, "Now I know!" .... and knowing is half the battle. [deletes last two cheese lines :] "Its all about your perspective..." ..->[ aMP-3 ]<-..

the poser part in the sims game is, as i said. being used as wall murals in the game. they are d/l able. i do have a couple of them for the game that i got from the site. and yes, i agree that it is addictive. i spent one nite doing three hours of that game!!!! so much for me doing the real life house work that needs to be done here!!1 lol

An old thread, I know, but I just got The Sims recently, and Poser seems to be one of the most successful tools I've tried to alter models. There's a utility called Skn2Obj which you can use to switch your files back and forth between The Sims and Poser. Can anyone tell me where to find a good tutorial on using magnets? I've tried messing with them (while reading the manual) and I'm sure I could get better results!
