All these characters are made from the Michael 1 figure plus a few dozen of my own morphs. They have the same texture map - Michael 2 Hi Res - with only some tint added to the ambient color in Poser 4. Good intentions to upgrade my very first product instead turned into an excuse to just play with how varied a group of characters can come from one figure, one map, and stuff that's accumulated in the old Runtime. What the heck, that's what summer is for... Elisa/gryffnn

Ethan's hot but Terence is really different. There's life in the old boy yet. Emily

I like Terrence and Bob ...

Online Now!

I agree with the above; Terence is the least likely to make me say, "Hey, it's Dan Farr with a new nose!"

Elisa, They look great. Is that work from your Mike Plus package? I have it (have always liked it) and even with Mike2 on the scene, I return to Mike Plus every now and then.

They are good, but I think they all have "Mike eyes". I don't know about anyone else, but I have always had problems getting Mike's eyes to look different. The above looks like a bit like a family reunion.

Funny you should ask about the eyes. Gryffnn made a set of morphs called "Mike Magic Eyes" that really add variety to the character's eyes. I bought both of Gryffnn's Mike sets when they first came out a loooong time ago. I even added all Gryffnn's morphs to already morph-laden Mike 2 using Morph Manager. I called the new character "Mike A to Z" and it is one of my favorite base models. It does add a whole new set of unique shaping tools to Mike that allows more versatility to him that Mike 2 doesn't even have.

Can we DL anywhere?

Thanks for the nice comments. Yes, Dave, MikePlus was my first product. I've combined MikeMagicEyes into the upgrade. Don't know if I'll be able to get it in for testing before we head out of town next week - so much other stuff to finish before then. I'm not sure what the policy will be on it, but Renderosity has always been really good about letting a product's customers have an upgrade. I'll let you know. Interesting response on Terence; he's got the deepest set eyes. None of these have the eyes moved closer or farther apart, which also gives a different look. I think a one of the best ways to get variety is from different eyebrow textures, and these guys all use the same texture map's brows, just tinted differently. I've always wished some texture master would do one with a bunch of eyebrow shapes that you could paste on the head texture. Maybe just the brow hairs on transparent Photoshop layers, so you could adjust their colors. Carcinogen, I did the same with Mike 2. Used to think it was such a huge file, and just used it to make character morphs for MikeBasic. Then I got Victoria 3 - and a bigger hard drive. I'm really looking forward to Michael 3, but know I'll still need the "slimmer" guys too.
