Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 02 2:22 am)
Ajax I think nearly every commercial Poser Utility/Application on the market has been posted as a limited demo in freestuff at some time or other.
Not to mention add-ons, extra files and free enhancements for other commercial products sold in the MP here and elsewhere.
How else would we know about them!
POST AWAY

Thanks everybody. I knew it was within the rules, but I wanted to get an idea of how people feel about demos in freestuff. It sounds like most people are OK with it, so I'll finish up the demo and post it. It's a 5 meg download, so yes, bandwidth is going to be a problem. My allowance is 1 gig per month, so that's about 200 downloads per month, which is not a lot given the heat the freestuff section takes. We'll just have to see how it goes.

With the upcoming release of version 1.2 of EasyPose Underground and the corresponding price increase, I've been thinking of releasing a free demo version of the software. The demo would be crippled so that it can only save figures with very small numbers of body parts (say 4 or less). The idea is to give people the chance to try out the software, including seeing how well a simple saved figure works, so they can decide whether they want to invest in the commercial version. My question is, do you think it's OK to post something like that to the Freestuff section, or is that outside the bounds of what the Freestuff section is for?
