Subject: Cartoon view not rendering correct

The document window shows the cartoon view. When I render it then the render is 3D like regular texture view. What am I doing wrong. (The make AVI will show up like a cartoon)

There is no way that I know to render AND keep the cartoon view .. the best you can do is anti-alias it ... Render always does a 3D view

When you render to an AVI or bitmap, select "use current display settings" and this will retain the cartoon effect....BTW you can very high quality cartoon images rendering to a movie, any size you want......good luck.... Krel

The problem withthe cartoon render is that it doesn't come out with textures, so that your figure is one uniform color (unless each material has a seperate color). Is there a plugin for Photoshop or aftereffects, or a setting (in the sketch render) that does a good cartoon-like render after the image is made? This way you could have the cartoon-like image, with more color, and none of those ugly shadows.
