PlanIT 3D are proud to announce the hosting of Helmut Schaubs Freebies. (Best Poser harness around that I know of.) But Also- "Harness temporarily unavailable - while we check a found conflict with other products." (Don't know what that's about so you may need to check back.)Moonrose, I am working on a harness to go with a Hansom cab I have made. The harness has blinkers, but is much simpler than the one in your photo. At present the harness does not conform, so it is a way off finished. I could post a picture if you wish. I think I might be able to extract the bridle part, so you could use it with an existing conforming harness. Cheers Ian
That looks fantastic, Ian. I love well made classic stuff. If you get really into this harness thing- would you consider making a Stage Coach harness set? Wayne (Cal, Vlad- Spit knows who I'm talking about) has a great Stagecoach model but there is no harness rig for it. BTW, tiny historic note:- Hansom Cabbies, at least in old US Train Station photos I've seen, used to give their horses really SPIFFY painted hooves. Often white, but sometimes stripes or colors like red or yellow. I guess it made potential customers NOTICE specific cabbies in a crowd of waiting horse-drawn Hansom's.

The Stage Coach looks like this (but not quite so well textured as a real one, of course)Thanks, Veritas777, I looked at the western stagecoach photo, it looks great, it would be intersting to see a render of the model. Do you have any photo's of the harness used with these coaches? I havent't tried searching the net yet, so I might be able to find a suitable pic. It would be interesting to try, especially since it would involve more than one horse, and therefore likely to be a conforming 'challenge'. I need to sort out the conforming for the cab harness. If possible I want the harness to conform to the horse, but also for the reins to stay aligned with the cab. I have a couple of ideas to achieve that. I have seen the thumbnail for your harness, and I will download it as soon as I can, it looks really good. Cheers Ian

Anheuser-Busch's Collection covers carriages from around the world- might be interesting.Attached Link: http://www.buggy.com/stagecoach.html
Here's some great reference photos of stage coaches and stagecoach interiors. There are some "hitched-up" photos here too.Attached Link: http://www.wellsfargohistory.com/stagecoach/index.html

i have bloodsong's wonderful heavy horse.. and it has what i'm looking for.. so if nothing turns up i can modify those.
