Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Oct 26 8:50 am)
I read in a tutorial that you have to export the figure without the bump map, but that goes for .obj files as far as I remember.... have you exported as a .pz3 file og .obj? If its an .obj try getting rid of all bump maps and export again....but I'm not that experienced, so perhaps somebody can help better that I :-)
Sometimes you have to go in and adjust the reflection values, highlight values, bump strength in Vue; for example, most skin highlights import as black from Poser, where you don't want that color highlight in Vue. Reflection maps can be a problem. Try playing with those settings and see how it goes. It's not a transparency problem, I don't think.
Poser and Vue use different techniques for handling reflection. Actually Poser (4) fakes it by using reflections maps (textures). Vue truly reflects the environment. Either remove reflection completely from the texture in Vue (or remove it in Poser before saving the PZ3) or change the material to a metal.
