This is a great scene but I'm worried about the mix of architecture........The house/mansion looks out of place....0.02p

kick arse. i agree with bryster, lose the house thingy. prehaps a quayside/harbour wall thing might be better. how did you make the boats? lattices? other than that i think it rocks more than a portaloo at the leeds festival during a riot. oooh look! 2p! wow i'm rich! pops 2p into pocket and wanders off looking rather chuffed John
Gregsin, you made those boats with primatives, WOW!, my hat goes off to you, this is some excellent modelling work. I agree about the house, I'm a Brit too. and what I think would look better in it's place is a warehouse sort of building, with dirty rotten wood for the doors and perhaps a crane for loading stuff onto the boats. This is a really stunning image BTW. 8) Catlin
I thought Scotland had declared its independance...again

I changed the building in the forground to something I hope is a little more correct for the time period. I Knew I should have paid attention during my history classes. I've posted the image in the gallery. Thanks for all your comments.Gregsin

damn right catlin. i love edinburgh. nice beer, nice people, nice atmosphere. plus the accent is really rather attractive.... falls into a dreamlike state remembering a really nice barmaid who joined me and my mate for a few bevvies on my last night in ed..... ....anyway where was i? ah yes accents, mine isn't manquian at all. strange really seeing i've lived here all my life. its more a bog standard northern accent. which is rather dull. btw, campbell has gone! yippee!!!! it looks like we are going to have to remove this government in stages. John PS: er... i've forgot what i was going to say here. sorry. PPS: just remembered, do you think greg minds about us hi-jacking his thread?
Burgi: You've got no chance of keeping Wales.......(Slaps Burgi and steals the 2p back)

With the amount of in-breeding that goes on up there, it's highly likely...............;-)

I guess we could be cousins catlin_mc, but it would be pretty distant, about 200 yrs at least. I'm right now working on my geneology and haven't been able to get past 1800 on my sirname. But I do have over 3000 people in my family tree so far and some of those on my Grandmothers side go back to 1300 in Lancaster, England. Maybe I'll find the link soon. :)
Please God NO! Not Gregsin!

inbreeding in scotland? hey at least they go for people, unlike certain people bryster...... Born and Bred Manq who can claim to be english for around 8 generations (my grandfather on my dad's side was way to family trees). 8 gens is where he had got to before he died. no-one else in the family is ever bored enough to continue his research. its the irish we should be concerned about, they nearly had us all in concentration camps. dobbing us into the fookin' germans..... i'm off now to make a CD for eelie. Play nice now! John
