What's with that!?! :-) It seems that everyone's posting something with M3 ... or is it just my imagination?

Not your imagination, but, if it is any comfort, I not only don't have him but I'm already tired of him.

Just wondering... How's Daz going to make a profit if they give him away to everybody OR How are they going to make a profit if they alienate those they didn't give it to -shrug-

I don't have him yet & have no plans to get him anytime soon. I only have 1GB RAM and that isn't really enough to put both a M3 and a V3 into a scene at the same time anyways.

I'm not worried about Daz. They'll make money off of him. Those who actually buy him will get an add on the testers didn't get ... a morph that turns him into the Daz cube!!

I don't have him yet and I have to agree with Farside. I only have 512 meg and V3's a lot heavier then she looks, if you know what I mean. Besides, I hear he doesn't have a winky! He has to strap one on. ;D

They've let their vendors have him, but the rest of the herd will have to pony up and pay. They did it to get lots of stuff available for him for sale in the first couple of weeks. V3 was underdressed for at least a month after she came out, and Daz seems to want to correct that problem. There will be textures, boots, clothing (both street and other), poses, etc. available for him the first day or so. Much more than V3 had. The only thing I haven't heard about was hair. ...and there are WAY too many responses I can come up with for "Stinky Winky" that would violate the TOS, and I'm VERY careful not to violate the TOS. You should all be ashamed for tempting me like that.

You must be in a dream. M3 isn't released yet, DAZ doesn't have him in the store yet. The only people that have him are the testers. What I'm wondering about is WHY all the testers try to make him skinny and feminine. I just looked at several posts in the gallery and one in particular had his face looking like a woman or at least a guy wearing makeup. I'd love to see some images of how well he muscles up and not looking feminine and skinny. Drax did some but they got moved.

I agree with you cherokee...they keep saying M3 isn't feminine but all the renders of him are....so why don't they post a render and prove it They haven't so I think he's still a pretty boy....:>) I'll have to see different before I'll plunk out for him. (notice: that's PLUNK out for him not put out for him)

I'll be buying M3, too. Especially if he's slender. :-) IME, it's easier to bulk up male characters than to make them boyish and slender. That was my main complaint about the previous versions of Mike: it's hard to make adolescent or anime-type characters with them. I'm very pleased with the M3 renders that have been posted. I want Fairy Mike! ;-)

Good PR is what prompts me to purchase a product. So far, PR from DAZ for M3 has been pethetic..leaving the testers to do the PR for them. PR should contain the possibilities for the product. As I've mentioned before, about the only images we have been exposed to are of a skinny feminine M3, except for the posts by Drax who at least gave an effort to show a more muscular M3. I'll make up my mind on whether to purchase M3 when he is released but currently, I'm not sure if I will.

No one can currently do PR at this site ... hence a lot of the problem and why people are loathe to post pictures of him at all here. That and everyone is working on things still since he was just sort of finished on Friday. I know I am still working ...

He was just sort of finished on Friday? Ooooh...getting closer. Watch the speculations rise. I'm not fond of depending on a P.R. campaign anyway. The Daz people can make anything look good. I'm more interesting in what he really looks like when someone like me gets their paws on him.

O.o he has a detachable penis{does anyone even remember that song} from the looks of it in the galleries...the arms are impressive... but ...I would just drag out v3 and do the male morphs.

I know they can't do PR here at Rosity without someone raising a fuss but they could do it on DAZ3D. There isn't anything at all there.

Maybe those PC club sneak previews will be just around the corner now.

I can wait for Mike3, I bought vic3 day 1 and have yet to install her. From the last 2 pics posted his neck to shoulders looks Odd, not very natural looking to me... just me?

It might be the pose ... it brings his shoulders down really low, I think ... I'll post some better ones tomorrow (getting real late)

PBM, that's Catharina's Marius texture (currently available for M2) which was converted to V3 with the texture converter thingy (the mapping on M3 and V3 are close enough for distant renders). Also ... I hope folks don't get mad that I posted the renders here ... it was meant to be in response to some of the questions asked in the thread, and not as promo renders. I'm trying hard not to cross the line here and if I have already I'm sorry!

Looks good, starting to look like what mike should look like. Thge vicky faces were definitly scary That chest looks a little wrong, it's waaaaayy too square. Looks like thje p4 mans chest. I love what was done to the rists I r4eally like that alot and the shoulders. What about making his hands and feet larger? Is that as buff as he can get? Will he have clothes? Sorry I overreacted when I found out about the modeling process.

And ONLY the Daz venders that have him at the moment are those that have promised to create stuff for M3 for concurrent release. I'm a Daz broker and I don't have him (nothing M3 to contribute). Just so none of you get TOO jealous...LOL. Laurie

Personally I'm glad they started with a more slender base. As stated above, it's easier to make things bigger than to make them smaller. As for the winky being a prop, that's not such a bad thing either. this way it can be used on the other figures too. (groan, that came out Soooooooo wrong, but it's funny so I'll leave it alone)

And when you a broker and just help testing stuff without contributing anything, you get the unmapped version without all the nice morphs - at least when you are testing posing packs like I do.

Hi Ugly looking guy isn't he ? I might be tempted to buy him so I have at least 1 fully fuctional mil human male (I like Vicki3 btw) but don't know if I'll have a use for him muscles or not it's all the same if he's got clothes on (I think nudes are over rated of either sex!) Some of the pics remind me of when a group of us used to go to the gym both male and female. (I'm a 91/2 stone skinny guy btw) and my friend Jo used to say at the top of her voice in front of all these muscle heads that she thorght they all looked like 'freaks of nature' needless to say me and the other guys worried that if the fight was to begin we'd have to finish it! Michael 3 can be bulked up very well and while his base may be a bit androgenous, a few dials spun here and there and you get pretty far away from that look.

Btw isn't his head awfully small? I can't remember seing people where the width of their head equals their neck (except a really fat guy I saw once, who virtually had no neck G)

His traps - those bulgey muscles on either side of his neck - seem quite a bit high when pumped up & the neck doesn't seem to thicken up any (between the slender and very muscular models - #38). Is that an fbm because in post #32, they don't stick out like fruits ready to be plucked. And where are his manboobs?? The ones that aways show up in muscular men? G

In looking at him again, his neck seems to be especially long as well - possibly contributing to the oddity w/the traps....look how high up they attach.

Ahhh, Ok DraX...the face morph is what I was looking for....bulking up a guy doesn't neccessarily make him look masculine....it's that pretty boy face I wanted to get rid of....no.38 above looks like a female body builder.......Thanks for the preview!
