I keep making stabs at it, but haven't actually managed it yet..the pic you have has great possibilities, even beyond what you've done with it..this is up there with K Cappis, and other such luminaries. Don't push it, just render as it comes..look forward to more.

Actually I have been using terrain based cityscapes for a looong time. The following are a sampling of some: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=418689 http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=416181 http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=262753 http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=143500 I am looking forward to your half sphere's! Cool image BTW!
Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!
i can see my house...., very nice feel to the image.
Experience is no substitute for blind faith.

Just an idea I've been playing with for years, only got it right one time with my Evil Empire pic. This right here is a fractal-driven terrain, of course... But when I rendered it with a new city-like texture, it actually turned out pretty cool! 1024x1024, the original render was 2000x1333, but I chopped it in half and EQ'd it in Photoshop. I'm curious if anyone else is doing terrain-based cities these days, and would like to see anyone else's progress? (note, this isn't a finished pic, just a test really!)
