I've been working on a pendant that is supposed to have words engraved around the edge of the pendant. I created the pendant in an image editor and made the ring of the pendant white, and put the letters in black. When I brought it into bryce as a terrain, you can see that something is engraved in the pendant, but you can't read it. Can anyone help me with how to make the words readable? Thanks, Starfall

Hi, maybe, it got applied "mirrored"? How does it look like, when zooming to that intended graving? Did you already increase the gridsize (e.g. to 512 or 1024. Beware this also enlarges BR-filesize by megabytes and slows down editing)? Did you try the Filtering, to get sharper edges for the engraving, otherwise, it might rather look like an eroded valley? Make the pendant a light gray and the words a dark gray. Keeping the shades closer together will prevent some of that nasty spikey stuff. The less spikey it is, the more readable it will be. Also, make the original image large: 500x500 or larger.
