Hi, I'm trying to import kromekat's Ultimate Woodland Props - Tree Trunk & Ivy into Bryce. I'm having a problem getting the ivy to be transparent. I've set blend transparency and loaded the trasparency map. What am I missing??? Thanks! Peggy

Sorry Peggy, I'm not familiar with Kromekat's Props. Either someone who is familiar with it will answer or you might post a screen grab of the Materials lab with the said texture and we'll give it a crack.

I love Kromekats stuff, just got the gnarly tree texture for the trunk and ivy combo....although, I don't need two channels for the ivy transparency, have to see what's up.....

Yes the main thing is, for the transparency map to work it has to be in the second box of your material editor. You could actually just put it as the alpha layer in the first box, then use that for your transparency map. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the help! Guess it really helps to move the transparent bead to the B column. Duh! Sometimes things can be right in your face and you don't see it... Peggy

Hi Peggy! You should have just emailed me, I made a simple 2 screen tute for someone else when I first release the tree! :) - anyway, I would think you have it sorted now, and thanks to everybody else for helping out! ;) I'll tidy this up and add it to my site tutorials, as well as the product read me, but for now you can access it at this link! Cheers Adam aka kromekat

Hi Adam, I remember the 2 screen tute! It helped me when I first got the tree. It would be great if the tutorial was always on your site. The link does not seem to work for me now. Thanks! Peggy
