Right, Lyrra. I've been reading all the Mike 3 threads with considerable amusement and have refrained from posting any comments (up until now). But I can't help thinking back to the V3 release and the torrent of threads/comments/opinions at the time. Everything from 'I hate DAZ 'cause can't I blow my mother's heart operation money on vicki clothes' to 'I'm committing suicide if I can't get a pair of panties for vicki right now!'. Ah well, the entertainment value is tremendous. mac

But as I pointed out above, no one says the block release is a bad idea as such.

I really don't understand why people are ragging on Orio...he does have a point.

I'm not one who complained there was nothing for V3 when she first came out. Though there were some that did.

One of our problems in this forum is that many keep confusing 'they' with 'they' when they're not the same people.

I have a debit card. This means the money is taken out of my bank account (or in pending) immediately. I also refrain from buying at full price when I miss a sale. This does not mean the product isn't worth the price, it's just not worth the price for me especially when there may be another product which I like also that is at sale price. If I have to choose, I choose what's on sale, not what's not.

There are simply too many products available at the same time as M3 for my bank account. And what doesn't get purchased now, probably will never be.

I don't think this was a good idea on DAZ's part. I think it may backfire. If there was the base model, morphs, textures, a hair, and basic clothing pack that would be different.

That said, I didn't purchase M3 so it's not really my problem.

'I don't think this was a good idea on DAZ's part. I think it may backfire' Well, it's possible, but I somehow doubt it. And here's why. Let's look at this logically. The way I see it, people have several options. 1.Buy it all now (assuming you can). But... no matter how much you buy now, there will still be more stuff coming out over the next few years, so NOBODY is going to get everything in one fell swoop. 2. Buy what you can. 3. Don't buy anything. Whichever one of those 3 options you choose, it comes down to the same thing in the end - If you do eventually want the stuff, you're gonna have to get it from DAZ. So how will it backfire on DAZ? Are you going to NOT get it out of spite? So, what (some) people are really saying is 'I want it all, and I'd like it all now, so I can get it as cheaply as possible. But I can't afford it and I can't accept that, so it must all be DAZ's fault for making too much stuff' Sorry if this sounds a little harsh, but that's really what's happening here. mac

You missed my point , Maclean. If you are someone who (through necessity) buys stuff on sale, then you won't be getting some of it...ever.

Okay, then Orio. I'll ignore you as per your request. I didn't want to get into an extended conversation with a troll anyway. :)

Spit, DAZ has sales practically all year long. Get the stuff when the next sale comes up, no? mac
