Ok, here's the latest in that house. I have to post the wireframe, because even the little preview window takes 15 minutes to go through the update, I hate to see the actual render. (how long could that actually take if it dotn' crash my system lol) Ok, lots of changes here since last time. Still needs more trees filling in the right side, flowers to fill the flower bed to the right of the house, a garden full of flowers and bushes on the left side, more flowers in front f thehouse, and along the path to the house. (oy yoy yoy) Anyhow, hope you like, and maybe can offer suggestions on how to get test renders to go faster? LOL Jen

Wow that's alot of detail. Can't wait to see it finished. I never even use the small preview window when a scene gets this complex. It just slows things down for me. I pretty much leave it set to wireframe.

JC you could use the preview render, it's the button to the left of the main render button. That shouldn't take too long to let you see how it's looking. BTW, the wireframe itself looks stunning, I'm really looking forward to seeing the full image. 8) Catlin

JC - Looks Great - WHy Dont you Group all the Foliage , Trees Etc.. make sure you do a view save and then just copy and paste them to a new doc delete them from the original or rename and preserve the original (better Idea)and Merge at the end,

I'll definately try those settings, the preview render is the one I most always use anyway for images, except for a few...lol For the heck of it today, I began a simple full render to get an idea of time frame, and thi sis what it said for expected render time... 1:23:37:47 and first pass took 11:27 am assuming that's 1 day 23 hours? and the first pass was 11 minutes 27 seconds...lol I'll set it tonight to render on those settings (thanks Rick) and hopefully by morning, I will have something besides a white screen with 5 lines on it....LOL Thanks everyone for all the great comments, I am soooo thrilled with this image..It began as a "is it possible", and became "can I actually do it, or would of of the more experienced artists be better at it" If I can get a test render done for tomorrow morning, I'll also post the Oroginal inspiration piece... Hopefully by then, I'll have the extra plants in and will be ready for some C&C LOL Thankssssssss again grins big Jen

Ya need some 'gingerbread' if it's Victorian, I'm working on Spandrels, Fretwork and Grilles for Victorian Ornament, let me know if you want some, it's going into freestuff when I finish.....

I had th emain piece in one bryce window, then would open another to model some framework, or wondows, doors, rails, etc, then save them as objects, and add to the first image, so I will have some stuff when this is done too... (also saves the whole dern house that way too winks) Jen

Jen, a sample of the ones I'm doing, I have about 30 different kinds for different things, this one is mapped with wood for use inside, map it in white and you can use it on a porch or gazebo, I have doors and railings too...
