Is there ANY way of making the menus wider in Poser PP? The one for poses is very narrow, and it trunches the names so I have a hard time finding what I'm looking for. Also, has anyone developed a scrollbar for the menus? It takes forever scrolling down past all the !V3 and Mat files.

If the names are being truncated, you probably have too many folders, or too many poses in a given folder; it's a known P4/PP bug. This was fixed in P5.

Poser 5 has a scrollbar for the menus, and it responds to most mouse scrollwheels. The P5 Library also supports subfolders, which can make navigation even faster.

I've noticed the more I cram into Poser the more truncated the menu names become and the narrower the width. I think I read something a while back here in the forum about it being just the way it is. I recently reloaded Poser PP and got rid of a bunch of stuff I wasn't using with made the names longer. Can't help on the scrolling thing but I'd like to know if anyone has figured out how to do it, I hate scrolling past all that stuff and now it's worse with M3 added :)

If you have 256 files in your folder (the maximum) you have too many for comfortable scrolling with or without a scrollbar. May I suggest reorganizing and weeding? Poser 5 and PBoooost and probably some other products will manage the libraries, but it helps if you can trim out what you don't really need. Carolly

PBooost(Hogwarden) & P.O.O.P(JHoagland) are the 2 best programs for organising the poser4 runtime, buy either or both & be amazed how much better poser will work :)

Also, a way of avoiding scrolling is to click the first letter of whatever you're searching for. Say you want poses bt TrekkieGrrrl. Press "T" and you're almost there (or possibly there, depending on whether or not you have something else starting with T (most likely)) But if your folder names are truncated to a point where they get hard to read, chances are that they're not even accessible anymore, so that IF you click on one of them, you'll still end up in the !!!!MyPrettyPoses or whatever is on top of your Pose folder :o) In that case, the answer is PBOOOST!
