Hello, I'm really a novice at anything that has to do with fractals, image sizes and formats, photoshop etcetera... Can anyone tell me how to make a thumbnail? Ik uploaded my first fractal, but without a thumbnail!! Thank you in advance.

Open your finished image in PS or PSP or whatever graphics program you use and resize it to 200x200 or smaller.Make sure its less than 15kb (compress it) in size and save as image thumbnail.Upload with original image and voila. :)

You can also just resize it in the fractal generator, if you like. I have a folder named 'Renderosity' on my drive. When I make an image, I render it at twice the size I want to post. (if I am posting 800x600, I render 1600x1200) and save that in My Pictures folder. I open my graphics program and pull in the image. I reduce it to the right size, add my name and date, run the unsharp mask filter on it and save it to the Renderosity folder (named 'image.jpg'). Then I reduce the image again to 200 x 150 and save again as 'imageth.jpg'. This way the images are saved right next to each other, making it easier to find them when uploading here. I hope this was helpful. Tres

Fractals will always amaze me!

I usually save as .jpg but they also accept .gif. Art Gallery The thumbnail image (if supplied) should be between 50 x 50 and 200 x 200 pixels and be less than 15 kb in size. Art images should be GIF or JPG format only. The full image should be between 100 x 100 and 4000 x 4000 pixels and be less than 512 KB in size.
