Subject: Vue D'Esprit crashes.

After I load a few trees or other objects into Vue I get error messages and it shuts down completely. There seems to be a problem between Vue D'Sprit and IE 6 on my system. Does any one have a suggestion how to correct this problem?

Have you updated to 4.2? Sharen

No. I'm using 4.0 Will this stop the crashes? (updating to 4.2) blehman

You should update at least to 4.12, and if you are still having problems, go to file/options, and turn of Open GL. That seems to cause problems for some folks.

Thank you. below is the error message I'm getting each time. VUE4.EXE has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created. I did update to 4.12 and still receive the message. I'll try turning of Open GL. and let you know the results. blehman

I wonder why you come to the conclusion that bthe problem is IE 6 related?? My guess is that turning off OpenGL will solve your problems. If not; update your video driver. What kind of graphics card are you using?

I didn't have this problem with VUE 4.12, XP Pro and IE6. Now I have this problem with VuePro, the program just disappears :(
