I think it's a railroad push car - the kind they used two men on, to go up and down the tracks. There was a law passed in 1968 about the push car and railway crossings in particular. The bill or Law is #1733 - M.Evans is a book company, which probably published a book on the above. :) Irene

Let's see, last week, you said it could be used for Halloween. Which perhaps implies that it could be spooky, but isn't a classic Halloween prop. And you said it wasn't the hearse. Based on the new clues, I'm guessing "baby carriage" is the right answer, and you're calling it "Rosemary's Baby Carriage."
