Hi everyone! Im trying to find a setting on focal blur that will work in an animation. Tried different kinds of settings but there are allways more or less grain in the blur.... This render was the best result but I had to add a light and a wall that wont work in my animation... still its this grainy look and its only set to 1% blur. The out put settings are broadcast quality. Ive even tried superior setting but still ends up grainy... Any ideas... Thanks! husse G.

I don't know...sorry. But I like that image just as it is :o) You did a wonderful job! Maybe render it in broadcaste? Jinx

This image is actually quite good in terms of grain but when i use a lighter backround it gets really grany... This is broadcast quality... husse G.

To get rid of that grain, you will have to render the picture in User quality mode, with a high number of rays and quality set to maximum... ... of course, it will also mean you will have more time on your hands to do non computer related things as you can expect render times to literally explode (think in term of days or week for some pictures).
