Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 26 6:57 am)
ME has so many bugs in it....My suggestion would be to reformat you c: drive and install a fresh OS of XP. then install Vue. I know that when I upgraded my OS from 2000 Pro to XP Pro...I had the same problem. Did a reformat and clean install of XP (and all the updates and service pak) and it has worked fine ever since. I know that is a pain in the butt, however..it should solve your problem. Make sure you get all the service pak and critical updates for XP from Microsoft as well, "BEFORE YOU INSTALL VUE!" Good luck
when the windows error report comes up, click the details and see what is causing the failure. look where it says the error report is at and go there in explorer to the obscure temp directory where its appcompat.txtfile is and copy/print it somewhere. You can then send to eon instead of ms. ..Sometimes refreshing the dll will fix, and unless its a necessary process, deleting it from registry (or just renaming) will cure it.

Click yes or no and back to the desktop. VUE ran fine under ME on this system (PIII, 512ram, 128 GForce 4400. ANY ideas? Is there a registry value I'm overlooking or a hidden config file somewhere? Pf
