Sure ... first ... Go to [menu]:
"Edit" ---> "General Preferences..." --->"Display Units" to Feet
Then ...
Open the Camera's properties and set yTran to 6.000 (feet).
Double click on the yTran parameter dial to open the Parameter Settings window and set the Min and Max values to 6.000 - then "Use Limits."

In Poser 5, is there a way to lock the height of a camera a fixed distance from the ground? I created a room, and I want to be able to set the camera at eye level (about 6 ft) and lock it at that height but still be able to move it around the room. Also is there a way to figure out distances,in feet,in poser?
