" Now, as well as suppppper slow access times stil, NOW I can't get into the "Free Stuff" section...whenever I select the "POSER" option and press select...it bounces me straight back to the free stuff intro page :( Anyone else getting this problem as well ? (I wonder how long it will take to load THIS post ) :(

It generates a internal server error now. Likely either an update script was running and failed, or someone is trying to do upgrades and is breaking everything in the process. :P All the drop-down menus aren't working for me, including the sidebar.

I wonder if they've made a new max size for posts?! I have been trying for almost an hour to post a reply to another thread, but only when I split it in 2, I was able to get it thru :o(

Same here. Everything more than 4 lines gets dumped. I am being sent to the Forum Front page all the time, as if my connection had timed out. This is getting worse by the hour!

I was just about to start a new thread on this subject. Yesterday I could not access Renderosity due to a a SQL problem, today I am returned to the free stuff selection page when I press Poser select. And I can only reach the Poser Forum from the headings at the top of the page but not the side forum poser drop down menu.

Wow At least I got in again now, after almost 5 hours of Time Out. This place needs SERIOUS makeover, guys!

5 hours, that,s nothing. I got on for 1 min. and gone, the past 24 hours. I kept getting a blank page in the forums or no server found, nothing. This has been going on all weekend. Shakeing with withdrawls.

Odd...I haven't had any of the above-mentioned troubles except for the super slowness. Had a lot of that the past couple of weeks I think.

looks like they have a lot of work to do this morning. cant access the gallerys by type at all.

Glad I'm not the only one suffering from these problems. For a minute I thought the computer gurus here at work had found another way to block my access to what they consider "offending" websites. Dave

I can feel the collective exasperation, and empathize. However, are there others who are actually downright worried and feeling "deprived," such as I do? Goes to show how important this site is.

I have been trying to get to R'Osity all day today since 11 am CET and it is now 18:18 hrs - so it has taken me 7 hrs to gain access to the site!!! Unbelievable.

Right. If I click on anything in Free Stuff I get an "Error, no file specified" which is double strange since the files aren't HOSTED on Rosity's servers :o[

The Poser freebie section is back up, but like the rest of 'Rosity of late, v-e-r-y s-l-o-w.

It might help you to know that while I'm accessing Renderosity from Greece the only problem I ever encountered is the unbelievable slowness of response to the "previous/next" pages (keep your fingers crossed...)... :)

well most of the renderosity site seems totally crazy or broken... don't talk about the problem they talk themselves.. just talk about solutions: where will it be back to something like "normal" at least ? (had probs with freestuff, could not access forum til tonite, and still see weird things.. could not even access my own rosity page and freestuff !)

Am I the only one that's almost given up on R'sity from time to time? The LONG load times are almost making R'osity unusable for me. 2 minutes to load the main page is WAY too long! Then another minute or two to load the forums page! And another minute to then load each message! I can render in Poser faster then this! LOL!! It's making me actually work instead or read and post! Heeeeellllppp!! Is there any hope in site?

No hope @ Gareee....they promised us three month ago they making changes to increase the speed of the site. But for the past couple of month this place has been slowing down more often than ever, after waiting for ages, the page won't even open or you're getting SQL Errors. you even can't download what you purchased and and and. :(

well I'd like to THINK that someone somewhere is working on the problem.. I;m guessing it's growing pains from being more popular, but is this slow down continues, people will begin to leave...

It has been a bit of a pain to get anywhere. I've tried a number of times just to get to the Poser Forum, and each time it just hangs. Worked fine getting to Product Showcase though. I'm guessing they've got a server problem and/or a scripting problem. One time I got an Apache error. Lots of No SQL Session ones. Of course, this is nothing compared to my beloved William's complaining that a neighbor has their Christmas lights up already. I think he's jelous.

I've had all the above problems with the most reoccuring being a SQL stop stating "too many connections" ... have not seen any feedback anywhere if this was a temp problem or if we can expect the same half way through a store d/l again soon.

i have had all the above problems too,and yesterday it wouldn't let me select just the poser gallery from the pull down menu's :( i've heard of bad hair days but goodness this is getting silly,someone PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE get/make rosity a wig!!!!!! lol

you know what's the worst? the site is alternately up and down, slow or slower, and THEY'RE WORRIED ABOUT THE FREAKIN SIDEBAR COLOR?????????? new software please!!!!!! this place has so much potential but it's like someone's personal homepage or something. that's it. i'm gone until this place is updated. if they aren't going to put some realistic effort into change, then see ya!!!

well a good start would be to change those forums to phpbb2 ones !, change the search engine of the free or marketplace areas... and then we'll see !

But, what about people coming to the site to purchase something and make money for both the merchant and the site? Whenever the site goes down (or won't load), people tend to overlook the fact that downtime = lost revenue. The longer it's down, the more people will shop elsewhere. It would be interesting to see some statistics for the site: on average, how many sales are made each hour or each minute. Then, when the site goes down for 1 hour, approximately X number of sales are lost. Down for 2 hours? Double that number. 3 hours? 4? At what point do people give up completely and go somewhere else that's more willing to accept their money? And how many "down again" times does it take before people give up completely and purchase from a "more stable" site?

you would think that some "bunny" would sort this site, it is so bad it is not worth the wait to get in here, takes forever to check two days of forum

I can't speak for others, but it looks like things are back to 'normal' now. As much as I missed getting access to 'Rosity...being down for a couple is NOT the 'End of The World", I can live without it for a few days. There are pleanty of Poser sites to explore What would be nice, NOW, would be some explanation from the folks in charge as to what actually HAPPENED ? Nothing TOO technical...but just something us non-geeks could understand ? Anyone ???

Not only is is back to normal.IMO it is a tad faster than it has been for a looooong time. So it seems that whatever "improvements" that triggered the crash, has finally brought along something good as well :oD

Yep, faster no doubt. I'm on a modem and it is much faster viewing pages here now. Thank you guys at Renderosity!! :o)
